Don jazzy,Wizkid,Davido makes forbes list of richest Africa musician

The trio of Nigerian musicians Don Jazzy, Wizkid and Davido have been named in the Forbes list of top 10 richest African musicians living in the continent.

Forbes Africa according to reports, arrived at the list of 10 richest African musicians using factors such as endorsement value, popularity, show rates, sales, awards, YouTube views, appearance in newspapers, investment, social media presence and influence among others.

Ranked at number (10) is Zimbabwe’s Oliver Tuku Mtukudzi who has 65 albums to his credit; at number (9) is Ghanaian rapper Sarkordie (the first Ghanaian to win a BET award); ranked number (8) is no other than Nigeria’s ‘Aiye’ crooner Davido who became popular with the realese of his 2012 album Omo Baba Olowo (OBO); and sitting pretty at the number (7) spot is one of Nigeria’s most internationally followed acts Wizkid whose song titled Ojuelegba has earned him global recognition.
